The NRA’s “Operation Fast and Furious”
The gun industry was hoping to put a new spin on “buy now, pay later” when the National Rifle Association started offering “buy now, pay later” gun purchases.
The NRA initially offered this “buy now, pay later” program under the brand name “Guns For Everyone Else”, but quickly dropped the “Everyone Else” part because it had nothing to do with guns.
Now the NRA finds itself in a bit of a bind. It faces a lawsuit by creditors of the “buy now, pay later” program and the gun industry that the NRA bought to “sell now, pay later”.

The gun industry was hoping the NRA’s creditors wouldn’t notice.

You see, the “buy now, pay later” program was “Guns For Obama”.
The NRA’s “Buy Now, Pay Later” program was the brainchild of Obama’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Jim Messina.
That’s right. The guy who lobbied for drug companies, health insurers, and the tobacco companies is now in charge of “Buy Now, Pay Later”.
Messina was the brainchild behind “Friends and Family”.
“Friends and Family” was the White House’s “buy now, pay later” program.
“Friends and Family” was another foot in the door for the gun industry.
