I Bet You Can’t Resist My Temptation! Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away… so, about 2 years ago, my then-boyfriend (now husband) and I started a tradition of having a theme on Valentine’s Day. Last year’s theme was “Love and Death,” and this year, we could think of nothing better than “Temptation.”
The dress is a simple 50s-style sundress, made out of some yellow-striped cotton I found at JoAnn Fabrics. I embellished it with a bit of black lace and finished things off with a vintage brooch from my grandma. The belt was made out of some black faux leather, and the holsters were out of some red pleather I had left over from another project. The shoes were thrift store finds, and I added a red bow because, well, because of red bows!
This costume was so much fun to make, and I can’t wait to wear it again!
